Baseball has long been the national past-time in the United States but the sport has expanded to all corners of the globe to include Australia, Japan, Canada, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Korea and many other countries.
Baseball has been my personal past-time since I was a little boy. I am a Phillies fan born and bred but am a baseball fan first. This website, JAV Baseball, is your home for everything baseball.
We will have articles about the Majors, the Minors, the draft and college baseball (Division I, II, and III). We might even have an article or two about the Little League World Series each year.
Baseball has brought together fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, grandfathers and grandsons, brothers, sisters and friends. Hopefully this site will let you relive some of your best and worst baseball memories from your childhood or make new ones for your adulthood.
I am working on my first eBook, entitled “Coaching Baseball.” The eBook will detail what it is like to coach baseball at the high school and collegiate levels while also providing drills for both levels of the sport to use during practices. The eBook, once complete, will be available for purchase here on JAV Baseball.
The eBook pulls from my own personal experiences as a high school and college baseball coach. I spent three years coaching high school baseball at my alma-mater and am working on my first season at a Division III college in New Jersey.
